Romex announce partnership with Argyll

UK leaders in Lone Worker Monitoring Services

In an exclusive agreement throughout the UK, Romex, the Mobile Application Service Provider (MASP) has partnered with Argyll to provide their Alarm Receiving Centre service for the Romex Lone Worker application.  Argyll have invested in a purpose built Alarm Receiving Centre in a high security facility, staffed around the clock by a team of highly trained personnel vetted in accordance with the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and BS BS7858.  It is for this reason and the fact that Argyll comply with both BS8484 and BS5979 Cat II that Romex chose the company as the sole monitoring provider for Romex lone worker service.

With lone workers operating outside normal business hours an Alarm Receiving Centre is a vital component of the monitoring solution.

Jason Laight, Managing Director for Romex said: "Arygll are clear leaders in the lone worker industry of Alarm Receiving Centre services and it made perfect sense to partner with this company to provide our monitoring service.  It is vital that the company we work with is compliant with all the relevant legislation for Lone Workers as it is unique to this industry. Those who purchase our lone worker software applications expect a comprehensive response service that offers vital reassurance and confidence.  Arygll have a proven track record of supplying this."

Tom Morton, Argyll CEO said: "Argyll supports almost 30,000 end user personnel and is the UK's largest and most comprehensive vulnerable person monitoring provider.  Argyll is pleased to work with innovative partners such as Romex who require personal risk management services or a police preferred monitoring service to enhance their own value-added services. Romex are now uniquely placed within their market to deliver comprehensive risk management and business efficiency solutions that fully satisfy the employers duty of care; meets the requirements of current health & safety legislation; mitigates corporate exposure to litigation and fulfils the requirements of BS8484, the British Standard for lone worker devices and services, required to receive a police response."

Argyll are also offering Romex's driver behaviour software under a white label version of the brand.
