Calculate Your Profit With Romexs Carbon Emmission Calculator
Romex the Mobile Application Service Provider (MASP) has developed a Profit Calculator that demonstrates how much money a company can save through using the efficientTeamFix and MyFix tracking applications to monitor the mileage travelled by a fleet.
The calculator will show the savings a company can achieve based on industrial averages obtained from various sources including the RHA , AA and Carbon UK. Calculating that an average van will give off 261g of carbon per mile driven, which adds up over a large fleet, monitoring unnecessary mileage through Romex technology could reduce a companies’ carbon footprint.
Jason Laight, Sales Director for Romex said “In a fleet of 100 vehicles that go even one mile off route on one day – that is 100 miles a day of unnecessary mileage. The carbon footprint of which could be up to 1,503,360 tonnes per year saving a company in the region of £66,000 per year.”
Romex software is made up of two parts – MyFix, loaded into the mobile team’s Smartphones and using the latest GPS technology with Google Maps, and TeamFix a true web-enabled interface that feeds the required information direct to the relevant operative. Features include pinpoint location mapping, speed monitoring (by road), arrival and departure from locations and the identification of resources closest to a users existing position.
